The Band

Described as alternative rock, this Leicester, 5 piece, reminiscent of the Doors, Radiohead, Muse, and Bowie, cannonballed into the leicester music scene in 2014. By August, they had headlined at Oxjam and booked the biggest festivals in Leicester. A Kaleidoscope of style, their harmonies craft character, whilst their music oozes melodic atmosphere.

Joe Pickering’s lyrical melting pot of tragic comedy and kitsch horror is embellished by erratic guitar and brother, Freddie Pickering’s subtle, yet engaging keys. Holding down the rhythm section, Joel Hanson’s, smooth and energetic bass lines empower, whether man-handling his double bass or taming the electric.

Playful backing Vocals by Joel and Rosie Price hint at the tongue in cheek undertones of the bands personality.
